# PROJECT TX - Ragdolls & Grab Upgrades (hxU8O5GCnF8, 1019s)

[Music] it's me NIM Sonny welcome back to project TX I have been working a little bit more on the project and you can see there's a little bit of new objects to play with a little bit of things here there and everywhere it's not a big update I know that it's been 2 weeks since the last video but it's not very big update on account of I've spent most of my time cooking or learning to cook actually so yeah anyways let's get on with the video so the first thing that I'd like to point out is mr. ragdoll over here has been updated which means he now flails a little bit more and has a little bit more liveliness when he gets up and when he moves around so here we go let's have a look at him when I saw push him around you can see he tries to balance you can see his hands or activating the animations and stuff are still very very simple this is very prototype level animation I've not spent hours and hours like I did with the Mario project or anything like that but yeah so he's just a little bit of a wobbly wobbly guy who of course has had his joints upgraded as well so now when we used the physics gun this time around when you grab him you can see he's a little bit more lively and you can see him flail his hands about and he does get up again proper he looks a little bit better now when he gets up as well and you could see when he's being thrown about he's a little bit more lively as well yeah you can see his hands properly go down there also when he falls off things like this he no longer gets stuck or at least he shouldn't get stuck anymore also and the most important one here is the hands so you can see here no more of that flinging and randomness going on because his hand joints are now strong enough to correctly handle themselves now that's not an increased setting or anything I'm still using the exact same settings so there's no performance difference it's purely just the way that those joints setup weren't completely done by the way that they should have been they can see him flailing about and then he manages to actually get on to the thing again he they are quite strong in terms of his muscle strength so you can see him really flinging about while I'm holding his hand up and you can see he has a little bit of rotational problems in the air since all of his flailing and motion is quite strong on his muscle strength and as a result he just sort of rotates himself in air suddenly when I like go now let's have a look at the actual update here and that is the grab our own system now this is something I've already been using that is just a random just a completely plain object this is one without any grab add-ons or anything special the way that the guns and everything have been working is there's a trigger there's a grab point of course which is where you can grab it and then there's a trigger add-on which is controlled by the system so if I let go of the gun the add-on is no longer function no longer functioning it's not grabbed nothing is running all of the extra functionality to handle this this weapon function only when it's grabbed is that being run and handled and the trigger value itself is checked by the gun itself and the gun system itself runs from the trigger that it detects when I pull on the handle the same thing is used for how the handled how the remove a gun and the physics gun or handle as well however there is more to it because it's not the only bit of data that it can collect it can get more than just the trigger they can also take all of other all of the other functionality available to the overall game so here we have something that I showed in pictures a long long while ago when I was first showing off the the ragdoll level systems which was a long time ago when I first mentioned the name hybrid presence and it is a radio-controlled or in this case script controlled drone so here we are I pull the trigger on this left hand here and you can see it powers up and I can control how much of its power is handled I can pull the trigger fully and it can go really high up or I can slow it down and try and hold it in the air now it also has if I walk over here you can see you it's facing the other way you can see a camera over here attached to the bottom of it and you can see me in the camera hello so this screen here is active and tracking that camera so it means that we can actually see oh yeah so these are rope together I just didn't or anything visible it means I can actually see what the drone is doing even without looking at it so if I'm over here for example I'm standing over there as you can see and I can still see what the drone is doing now the way I'm controlling this is of course the left hand trigger is activating this however the right hand the way that I actually tilt and roll it is with the right hand but it's an accelerometer based thing I pull the trigger on my right hand to activate the accelerometer in accelerometer and while it's in the air all I have to do then is rotate my haLine truncated
