# PROJECT TX - It's time to CLIMB! (b91SafKV7Vc, 808s)
[Music] it's me named sony welcome back to project tx we are finally back in the project dx it's uh it's been a while uh but you should recognize to a certain extent this sort of area behind me it's actually a replication of one of the areas that i'd built in a previous demo you can sort of swing around in this area in my original locomotion physics demo it's a pretty terrible one in terms of in comparison to this current uh but i decided i'm gonna go back to this as a base for my uh sort of super easy sample demo and uh yeah so there we go let's uh let's get uh get going and have a look around here i'm just sort of playing around with a few random objects right now just leave them in the scene but what i've actually done is i've actually changed the the strength of the arms actually so picking up something like this very very easy and of course even the heavier one even the heavier one no problem and that's so that i can climb but i will be pre placing a button in the scene so that we can actually uh swap between the two strength sets uh so i've got a setting a settings set for each strength mode and uh i can't switch between them dynamically in game yet i can just easily swap them in the in the editor but for now also you'll probably notice there is also a sort of castle in the background there in fact if i switch you to main camera you should be able to see it there we go there's a castle in the background uh i haven't built it fully uh based on the uh the old version yet so i am working on that but in until then let's get you zoomed out i'm going to take these just in case i fail but they should not be necessary there we go um let's get going so here we go bouncing off the first one immediately failing uh yeah so i am using only one tracker today just because i'm lazy uh but i will eventually be not even using a cv one anymore uh so there we go um i've modified the windows design i've i've made everything look really nice this time around now they're not grabbable on any of the sort of regular sides but they are grabbable on the edges like this so there we go [Music] and this is why i have increased the strength now doing this is pretty much impossible without the increased strength [Music] i love ropes [Music] and then of course we've got this uh sort of thing here wobbly ground wobbly ground there we go got it let's switch you over to my camera just for a little bit of climbing there's the camera that you were at before i didn't jump very well there oh stop blocking the sensor oh that didn't work [Music] and then we've got these rollers coming up come on there we go climb it [Music] ah i'm gonna have to stand on top there we go yeah uh i probably need to move the windows inwards a little bit but uh oh well right one two three [Music] yay made it uh we'll switch you back to that camera and uh see how much you can see oh it's a little weird isn't it but oh well let's uh let's do it [Music] see if we can climb nice and fast [Music] camera's being smacked about [Music] [Applause] and this is why you always keep suction cuts with you [Music] but i don't want to cheat so let's wait awesome right okay so we'll put those away now where are you camera ah you're still out here [Music] let's get this sorted oh there's some fun bits coming up now [Music] ah that was nice right i'm up [Music] so this is uh super frictionless like super smooth it's using the same friction settings as like infinite smoothness oh it does also collide with the camera um so you can choose any object or you can literally just use your arms with this unlike before where you had to grab something i used to put them sort of hooks and stuff up here but you can now [Music] take a broom which uh i can't swing around properly because my arms are so much stronger now in this mode that uh that i don't know how it controls so here we go we'll use one of these wonderful right let's get it sorted camera you ready and off we go [Music] so i put these things here because it was impossible to stop at that speed remember that is frictionless so i was basically getting thrown right off the level or at least right off this section but here we go wobbly ladders this time round rather than a simple jump and of course these things if you miss a little bit it's a lot better than before where you would just sort of fall off immediately because now if you miss your arm will collide so you'll get saved by the fact that it's a ragdoll oh i didn't even need the windows oh i didn't need the windows but only because there was a window there that makes perfect sense so these are getting a little bit weird because the lack of control i have zero air control in this uh in this version of project tx so if it starts swinging out of out of the way i have to basically use the weight balance and only that to control it it's impossible to control otherwise yeah i made it right [Music] there we go where are you going to switch back to my camera just for fun [Music] let's goLine truncated
