# PROJECT TX - Foot Upgrades and Total Wipeout VR? (DxOV9wNglzk, 726s)
[Music] it's me named sony welcome back to another vr video today we are back once again in project dx and uh i have something fun to do over there you can see a total wipeout zone yay so uh having a little bit of fun but before i get to that i've done some changes to the feet so uh yeah i wanted to quickly test those out and see let's have a look at how it works um no this is not how it works video but how it works i also added some of my tools from the previous project tx versions um like the grapple hook sorry camera and uh of course some other tools like the the jet boosters and of course the climate thing which you saw in the previous video so let's get on with this and uh i'll probably just leave a booster down here grab the grapple hook there we go the feet are looking a lot better now it does animate according to my hands a little bit as well and when climbing that really works really nicely there we go [Music] can't we bother doing the swinging [Music] right uh because there's something additional that i've put into the foot movement system it's not perfect yet but it's definitely a lot better it also sort of tracks the ground now properly and uh kind of clumps quite well it still does a little bit of a crossy cross foot but uh i'm going to solve that eventually have a look on the platforms here and you can see that my feet actually track the ground quite well there we go and then a little bit more of climbing where are you camera hello [Music] and i've made some modifications uh to the way that the actual um camera tracking also works but uh before we do that let's just grab on to this like i said before you can do so without anything at all so if i wanted to i can just grab it like so oh i forgot camera sorry about that and uh off we go [Music] [Applause] so there we go but let's have a fly now [Music] and uh pop over here and you'll also notice that the camera kind of follows me a lot better as well the feet are still not working perfectly um when flying around but there's a little bit more physics to them as well so if i was to grab out my grapple hook [Music] and when i say a little bit more physics they've always been ragdoll but now i've changed the looseness of them so that they actually bounce around quite a lot while still having a lot of control over what they're supposed to do there we go and uh that looks great which way is it yeah i still need to put some uh proper inventory management onto this thing but uh oh actually we should be swimming in the water there so the blue little section here is uh is gonna be counting as the water but uh if you switch over to my camera we'll be able to have a look at the course uh you will notice that the castle in the background has changed yeah i'm going with that that's that design instead i've modeled it from scratch but it's not complete yet so i haven't put any climb points other than those two windows there um i will get to that in a little while but before then let's uh bring the camera around [Music] right and uh let's do this [Music] and uh we'll have a look at how good all of this works this is really fun course to run by the way yeah a proper wipeout course i've added like proper actual things so there we go oh crashed into the ceiling there maybe the camera is having a little bit of trouble there as well oh i got stuck because of that platform [Music] ow hurt myself right there we go now [Music] so here you can see as well that the ground tracking is quite quite good um it doesn't rotate properly with my uh with my standing idle yet but other than that the actual walking and everything it seems to track it quite well so there we go really nicely tracking the ground properly now there we go and try and get up here without failing so far so good yay no falling now originally i had put these things in quite fast and it was impossible to jump over one and uh not get hit by the next one along but that's not a problem now so i'm trying to get that sort of mario feel to the character when he jumps oh that wasn't a jump there we go there we go yeah so it's it's kind of okay the legs kind of move a little bit but it's not doing exactly what i want yet um still still a lot of work to do on the feet but it's looking a lot more cool than than any other that i've done before right so here we've got one of these round things you gotta go under these and then over these and then fall right off the level oh oh uh i shot something right let's get back up there no no no skipping [Music] there we go all right let's get back to it under over oh no don't follow it over under over and stay alive [Laughter] oh i love this oh this is a very fun this is a very fun course right turn the camera we've got a long ladder to climb we can always speed ourselves up there we go yeah right we've got the hole in the wall uh which uh pull this wall that's an actual or is it all holist wood actual place in england yeah we've got really weird names for places there we go i'm Line truncated
